Design-for-manufacturing

In order to realize the most cost-efficient solution, a plastic-compatible design and the right choice of material are of the utmost importance.
These and other criteria along the value creation process are examined as part of a design-for-manufacturing (DFM) analysis in order to realize a production-ready product together with you. We are also happy to work with prototypes that can be produced using 3D printing, for example.

Polymers

Are you looking for the right material for your application?
At m3profile, we cover the entire plastics pyramid. Whether standard plastics such as PE & PP or engineering thermoplastics such as polyamide or PVC. Depending on product requirements, flame-retardant plastics or halogen-free types may be necessary. If, for example, high temperature resistance is required, high-temperature polymers such as PEEK or PEI can be used. We support you in selecting the right material to meet the necessary requirements of the application. We are also happy to assist with co-extrusion and multi-component extrusion.

Construction & Simulation

In addition to a well thought-out component design, appropriate shaping elements along the value chain are necessary in order to achieve consistent, high-quality series production.
At m3profile, all tools, calibrations and other production-relevant equipment are designed by our experienced designers and refined in interdisciplinary teams. Precision is an indispensable prerequisite for our shared quality standards.
As a sustainable company, it is part of our DNA to use costs and resources sparingly, which is why we use the latest FEM-based simulation methods to take fluid dynamic effects into account during tool creation, for example. This means that unnecessary correction loops can be avoided. Furthermore, modular concepts, the experience of our experts and state-of-the-art systems enable a reduction in time-to-market.
